Barolo is by far the most famous appellation in the area and this example does not disappoint. The wine is aged for 38 months, 18 of which in oak barrels.
Nebbiolo shines in this wine with a refined and rich nose showing plums, red fruits and jam, and very elegant notes of tobacco and leather. On the palate, a lovely balance of red fruits, roses and herbs. The tannins are ripe and smooth with a long elegant finish. Ideal with red meat and game, and truffle-based dishes
