Furleigh Estate Dorset, Classic Cuvée 2015: Elegant dry sparkling wine from 30% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Meunier. Floral aromas of apple blossom, ripe melon and constance pear plus a delicate thread of minerality. On the palate the fine mousse marries citrus flavours of grapefruit and Sicilian lemon with a crystalline structure and zesty acidity.
James Martin, Chefs Signature, Narbonne-France: Blend of Chardonnay and Marsanne, The colour is a bright straw yellow with grey highlights. The nose is both floral and fruity with citrus notes. Mineral palate with a good structure and buttery notes. Very well balanced with a fresh finish. Best served between 10 and 12ºC.
Massaya Rose, Lebannon: A 100% Cinsault rosé wine, grown on the hillsides of the Beqaa Valley. Pale look, scents of white flowers, a persistent texture. Dry, with a hint of pepper on the finish.
Château Treytins, Bordeaux, France: better known for its Lalande de Pomerol wine but since 1998 it has also produced a Montagne St-Emilion the largest of Saint-Emilion’s satellite appellations. Merlot 90%, Cabernet Franc 8%, Cabernet Sauvignon 2%. Well developed on the nose with red fresh fruit, mouthfilling with elegant delicate tannins. No oak aging.
LBV Port 2017, Portugal: a blend of full, rich and fruity wines of a single year which has been specially chosen for ageing from 4 to 6 years in oak casks prior to bottling. The grapes were foot trodden in granite lagars and stored in large oak vats called tonels. The special characteristics of this LBV are its richness, depth of flavour and powerful, attractive bouquet
